Kent to Connemara explores the family legacy of the author Ford Madox Ford in Ireland through the memories and reminiscences of three generations.
The modernist writer Ford Madox Ford had two daughters with whom he would become estranged in their adulthood. The eldest, Christina, would become a Catholic nun, Mother Mary Matthew, and remain in England. Katharine would emigrate to Ireland, become a veterinary surgeon and raise a family with the renowned painter Charles Lamb.
