Produced and Directed by Paul Lewis, Kent to Connemara explores the legacy of the modernist writer Ford Madox Ford in Ireland. The author had two daughters with whom he would become estranged in their adulthood. The eldest, Christina, would become a Catholic nun, Mother Mary Matthew, and remain in England. The youngest, Katharine would emigrate to Ireland, become one of the first women veterinary surgeons and raise a family in Connemara with the renown Irish painter, Charles Lamb.

Kent to Connemara explores this legacy through the memories and reminiscences of three generations of Katherine's descendants.
