Project Description:

The modernist writer Ford Madox Ford had two daughters with whom he would become estranged in their adulthood. The eldest, Christina, would become a Catholic nun, Mother Mary Matthew, and remain in England. Katharine would emigrate to Ireland, become a veterinary surgeon and raise a family with the painter Charles Lamb.
Kent to Connemara explores Ford Madox Ford's legacy through the memories and reminiscences of three generations of Katherine's descendants.
